Brief Answer:
possible thoracic outlet syndrome
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
From your symptoms it sounds like you may have something called thoracic outlet syndrome. This is a condition where the nerves from your neck that go out to your arm get compressed causing severe arm pain and numbness. It is also possible that you have something going on in your neck. The nerves that come out of your spine through your neck go into your arm and ribs. The symptoms really sound like you have a nerve irritation. It would be good for you to see a doctor for an exam and better diagnosis. Often physical therapy is a good treatment for these disorders, but you first need an exam and good diagnosis. I wish you good health.
