What Causes Left-sided Chest Pain And Intermittent Drop In Oxygen Levels?
Question: Father in law is having chest pains to the left side mid sterium, on and off oxygen levels have dropped, he has had to pull over for 15 mins before due to numbness and pain, no stress test been given, been to hospital in NZ and all results including 6 blood tests didn't show heart attack chemical, BP is fine, been occasionally doubling over due to pain in chest. Please advise.

Factors that exacerbate the pain (walking, eating, anxiety, etc)
Please could you upload a resting ECG and his cardiac enzymes results?
A increase in cardiac enzymes level during chest pain periods raises strong suspicions on a myocardial ischemia alternative.
Coming to that point fuether clinical investigation is necessary o follow:
Imagine cardiac tests such as cardiac stress echo and ECG cardiac stress test could yield valuable information regarding differential diagnosis process.
If the patient has actually coronary risk factors (hypertenson, dyslipidemia, is smoking cigarettes, diabetic, and has a strong heredity for CAD) a coronary angio CT could be helpful too.
If sufficient information toward a cardiac ischemia is gathered, then the next step is preceeding with a coronary angiography
