Question: hello the left side shaft of my penis has been numb for about to years now i believe, it happened ever since i over masturbated one day. i masturbated even tho my penis was still sore from the last session ans still recovering and i ejaculated and ever since that ejaculation the left side of my penis has been numb. and i still get erections but they are not as strong as they used to be and i cant hold them for long. is it a damaged nerve and can it heal on its own if i just stop masturbating? or should i see a urologist?

Brief Answer:
Stop Masturbation And Every Thing Will Resolve

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Penis shaft numbness is due to decreased sensation secondary to masturbation. Reduce it or better stop it and the issue will resolve. Its not permanent. Soreness is due to the friction caused by masturbation. Nutshell all your issues will vanish once you stop masturbating. Behavioural sciences advise to keep the frequency to the minimum levels as twice a week as maximum limit of masturbation but that also compromised daily life and comes up with such sensation issues like yours.

You don't need to to see any one. Just adapt good coital and toilet habit and abstain from masturbation and everything will be back to normal. In future if you got issues with copulation with your partner which you likely won't, then you my consult sex therapist that time but right now not needed.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

the soreness is not from the friction. i dont masturbate the same way like evey one else does. i tickle the the tip of my penis until i reach orgasm i dont stroke it at all. what im saying is soreness was from the erection after my previous ejaculations. which is why i asked if its nerve damage.

Brief Answer:
Not a nerve damage

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

Masturbation is very friction activity and even if glans of the penis is rubbed that may lead to such temporary changes. But there is no nerve damage. All you need to do is reduce masturbation frequency and it shall resolve

One thing is for sure which is your main worry too. It Is Not A Nerve Damage And Nothin To Worry About.

I hope it helps.
