Brief Answer:
detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Colonoscopy is a common diagnostic procedure that is considered a safe procedure.Minor complications can happen but they resolve on their own .Major complications are considered rare.

In your case ,your legs pain might be due to muscular spasm due to uncomfortable position of legs during the procedure. In this case it may last only few days.
Another possible factor is nerve injury during the procedure. This is caused from stretching or compressing the nerves (superficial nerves ,sciatic nerve, peroneal nerve) depending on the position of your body during the procedure.
You need to rest some days, massage your legs .
You can take Ibuprofen for the pain if necessary.
If the pain doesn't seem to improve or it get worse in some days ,you should consult your physician.
In the case that the pain is due to nerve injury ,it may take some more time (days to weeks) for the problem to resolve.

Hope it helps.Let me know if you have any other question or doubts to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena
