What Causes Leg Swelling After A Knee Injury?

Description bellow.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
From description it seems soft tissue injury or ligament injury. If proper immobilisation is not given at the time of injury, healing of tissue or ligament might get hampered. Leg and foot swelling could be due to knee injury.
I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination of swelling. You may get the X-ray/MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance.
Meanwhile give hot fomatation over it, You can take Tablet Motrin 1 tablet with food as and when required (upto 4 tablets daily).
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You are correct. Not taking proper rest might be the cause of delayed healing of tissue or ligament.
Taking Advil more than 4 tabs per day is too much. If your symptoms persist, I suggest you to go for a MRI after consulting your doctor.
Wishing you good health..
Warm regards.
