What Causes Lightheadedness And Belching Along High BP?
Kindly read my detailed answer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Lightheadness, giddiness are seen both in high as well as low blood pressure. It can be found in simple gastritis, sugar fluctuations or impairment of blood supply to brain even.
My advice to you is -
1. Ask your doctor to do 24 hrs ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, by which you can confirm about blood pressure fluctuations in whole day and during night also. You can also see when you have Lightheadness at that time what is your blood pressure.
2.Beta blockers and ACE inhibitors are not a good combination in hypertension patients only unless you have any heart related problems. Calcium channel blockers like amlodipine is a good choice for 24 hrs control of blood pressure with lisinopril. Even iif you want to take B blockers, many sustained release preparation are available which can control blood pressure for 24 hrs.
3.You might have acidity problem, which can produce excessive gas and belching and can also cause Lightheadness. Aspirin might be responsible for that.
Ask your doctor about changing aspirin to tab clopidogrel which is more efficacious and devoid of acidity side effects.
4.Do regular daily brisk walking for 1 hour, healthy diet like fruits and vegetables, yoga and exercise will maintain all parameters in normal limits.
5.Treatment of Lightheadness is easy but to reach the cause of it is important.
I hope I have given you satisfactory answer, if you have any further questions, you are always welcome.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
