What Causes Liquid Vaginal Discharge During Intercourse?

default
Posted on Sat, 26 Mar 2016
Question: Thanks once again Doctor.

Lastly, I have a silly question out of no knowledge. When I have intercourse with my partner, I tend to discharge some liquid which is similar as if he ejaculated inside me or it seems as if he used a lubricant and thus a sticky watery kind of feeling can be felt. I guess that is out of excitement. Discharging such a liquid causes pregnancy? When it was time for him to ejaculate, he did ejaculate or discharge inside the condom. Also, does anal sex causes pregnancy?

Sorry for such questions. This is all just all for my info for precautionary measures.

Thanks a ton.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again dear.
Please, no questions are silly.
I can understand that you confide your personal doubts and anxiety to me, and I am happy that I can help you always.
Never hesitate to write in to me, regarding any matter.
It is normal to have arousal and sexual excitement while having intercourse.
You tend to have some amount of vaginal secretions during sex, or even post orgasm, that is quite normal.
It is meant for lubrication and is a normal phenomenon.
That liquid secretion does not necessarily mean that pregnancy will occur, if a good contraceptive method is being used.
If condom is used, and there is no ejaculation inside the vagina, that would not cause a pregnancy.
Anal sex can never lead to a pregnancy.
Please do not worry.
Feel free to discuss further.
Take care.
Have a good night !

Thanks Doctor for the wonderful advice.

Hope you are doing good.

My stomach seems to be blotting up. I guess its because of the medicines (Marvelon) which I had. Also, I have food these days at unusual timings because of which acidity may have been created.

Please advice.

Detailed Answer:
Yes, the bloating is a distinct side effect of the hormones.
ALso, eating at odd timings can lead to such gastric upsets.
Try eating simple, non spicy, non oily home cooked food at regular intervals.
Avoid eating for 3 hours prior to sleep.
Take 5 - 6 small meals every 2 - 3 hours instead of big , heavy meals.
Try taking a simple antacid such as Pantop - D twice a day for a few days.
Dont worry, it is hormonal effect, which will pass in a few days.
Take care.

Hi Doctor,

Thanks for the valuable info.

When we have intercourse he only uses condom at time he is going to ejaculate or discharge. Until then he is without condom. Will that cause any chances of pregnancy as I have heard discharge due to sexual arousement and pre ejaculation may cause pregnancy. All what I feel at that mode is a lubricant itself creates which is very watery and sticky like which I fear maybe is a pre discharge and may cause pregnancy. This is just for my info.

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
If your partner is using a condom only at the time of ejaculation or discharge, it is very risky.
Pre ejaculatory fluid can contain live sperms and cause a pregnancy.
So if you choose to use condoms as a method of contraception, then it should be used right at the beginning of the sexual act, right uptil the end ( ejaculation ).
take care.
