Dear Ms
Loss of Libido is likely to be due to following factors
1. Post menopause changes
2. Concurrent Diabetes Mellitus: Longer the duration of it, more likely it will affect libido
3. Decreased Serum calcium level : It causes decreased excitability of nerves.
It's usual for many individuals to experience vaginal dryness, loss of libido , hot flushes and mood alteration after attaining menopause (permanent cessation of menstrual cycle). It occurs due to declining level of oestrogen and Progesterone.
I would suggest you the following which will definitely help
1. Calcium and Vitamin D3 Supplements
2. ENSURE good intake of water : Consume 2 to 3 liter of water per day.
3. Hormone replacement therapy in consultation with your Gynecologist will definitely be helpful. It will also help in maintaining bone density, prevent osteoporosis, mood elevation and beneficial lipid alteration by increasing HDL Cholesterol
4. Regular exercise and maintaining physical activity.
5. High fiber diet
6. Lubricant: If there is vaginal dryness lubricant will be helpful.
I hope it helped
In case you require any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
