Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
Nasal allergy itself causes loss of taste and smell sensation. On top of that flonase, is also known to cause the same.
Though, patients do complaints of loss of smell and test , but it usually returns after a few weeks to normal.
In this type of cases, it is recommended that initially one should go with high aromatic herbs to improve smell and taste of food , which in turn revitalises smell and taste buds.
Try it for some time, if it works then fine. Otherwise you need to see an ENT specialist.
Hope I have answered your query.
If any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.
