What Causes Low Energy Levels While Treating Anemia?

Question: Hello, I am a 75 year old female and very active as I go to work every day as a Realtor and was the top producer in or company of 150 agents last year. My energy level is way down and the Dr has been treating me for anemia. I recently in he last few weeks have had two infusions of iron hat took 3 hrs per treatment.. The nurse in he infusion area mentioned ferhume..Is it a safe treatment. I had little response to the first two treatments..Thanks, XXXX... YYYY@YYYY

Hello dear.
I have gone through the details.

So in a case of iron deficiency anemia intravenous iron is definitely going to help you but it will take time to respond, say about 6 months. Moreover, the cause of iron deficiency must be looked for as sometimes it may be due to blood loss in gut. Im unable to understand what ferhume is. Please mention the original generic name of drug.
