Brief Answer:
infection to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Good day.
Noted your concern. In the back ground of past history of cellulitis , it's important to rule out cellulitis or foot infection as a cause of fever. Any redness or warmth in his feet or thighs?
If that is absent, we have to look at his calf region to see if there is pain or tenderness there. If that is absent next sites of possible infection is urine or chest. Any urinary symptoms like burning or pain .? Any cough or phlegm?
It is a good idea to check his blood and urine to look for evidence of an infection.
