Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.
I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Normal TLC count ranges from 4,000 to 11,000. It usually is not affected by menstruation. The main factor that causes a rise in TLC count is infection. Please share your current count.

My WBC count was 2.74. Six months ago it was 7. So i am trying to figure out what may have caused such a decrease. I am taking antihistsmines. Would antihistsmines cause a low white blood cell count?
Thank you .
Thank you .

Please see description
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for gettig back. its unlikely for antihistamine to cause this problem. What are the levels of other CBC & DLC parameters? Most common cause of decreased TLC count are:
Malnutrition
Parasitic diseases
Vitamin deficiencies
Aplastic anemia
Certain medications, such as antibiotics and diuretics.
Hypersplenism
Infectious diseases
I would suggest you not to search yourself else it will increase stress for you. Visit hospital and get an appointment for a "Consultant Hematologist". He will examine all your lab parameters FIRST and then will proceed with further workup according to the parameters.
Thank you
