What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain That Radiates To The Testicles?

Question: I am seventy year old male and have pain in my lower abdomen radiating from my right testicle.The pain is not sharp but like a discomfort you feel as gas is struck on the right side of stomach. I am a copd patient and also a stent put four years ago.
Gas passing gives little relief.

Hello
Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in your Rt testicle radiating to lower abdomen .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have fever ?
2) Is there swelling of Rt testicle ?
3) Do you have loose motions ?

The pain in lower abdomen and testicle could be due to either infection of Epididymis or Testicle and needs to be confirmed

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis to rule out any intraabdominal pathology like Appendicitis
3) Ultrasound Scanning of scrotum.

In the mean while start taking antibiotics like Cefotaxime and anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily ,

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
