Posted on Mon, 5 May 2014
Question: When I stand for about ten minutes, I get pain in my very lower back (top of hips). Sometimes the pain moves up the side of my back. Sometimes it helps if I rotate my hips forward and back.

Brief Answer: Suspect Lumbosacral strain Detailed Answer: Hi.Thanks for giving an opportunity to address your query. I were to suspect Lumbosacral strain.I were to examine and localize the area of pain (corresponding area of spine) ,do X-ray of LS spine and a blood test for calcium and vitamin D levels. I were to suggest usage of brace/support for your lower back along with analgesics while I await for the results. Hope this answers your query.
