Brief Answer:
Can be a serious problem like twisted cyst or colitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female 44 - taking warm bath and a heating pad - tenderness (pain on touch) on lower left side of abdomen - dizziness with blurred vision - Wants to know what is wrong.

If the dizziness and blurred vision are coinciding with the tenderness, the problem can really be severe and needs urgent medical attendance with clinical evaluation, physical examination and investigations like ultrasonography, tests of blood, urine and stool.
The probable causes can be:
Severe colitis.
Twisted cyst.
obstructed hernia.
Rare causes that are found only on investigations.

Please let me know if your have any other symptoms such as:
Nausea, vomiting, bloating, constipation or loose bowel movements or any other symptoms for me to assist you more. Did the symptoms start right along with pain in the lower abdomen?

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis at the earliest and the proper treatment.
Please feel free to ask for more relevant questions if you need to or if you feel there is a gap-of-communication.
