Hello,
Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.
I've gone through your details and I appreciate your concerns.
As per your query, the answers are-
It can be suggestive of possible appendicitis.
The classic symptoms of appendicitis include Dull pain near the navel or the upper or lower abdomen that becomes sharp as it moves to the lower right abdomen; this is usually the first sign, it occurs in more than half of appendicitis cases.
Appendicitis is more common in females than in males. It occurs when the appendix becomes blocked, often by stool, a foreign body. Blockage may also occur from infection, since the appendix swells in response to any infection in the body. This swelling causes persistant pain and discomfort
Some other causes can be an ovarian infection or ureteric infection.
Initially, an ultrasound abdomen should be done to see exactly which organ is involved.
Right iliac fossa pain should be taken seriously and investigations should be done to look into it at the earliest.
Please do follow up with the reports.
Thanks!
I am concerned with my right abdominal pain a lot. I had a CT Scan done on May 26 but it didnt show anything. I had gone to the Emergency Room for my lower back pain and they had done the scan. My lower back pain and my right side abdominal pain still persists.
Should i go for another scan? Do you think something might have developed between May 26 and now ?
Thanks,
