What Causes Lump Behind Right Ear?

Question: I felt a hard lump right behind my right ear the size of a pea .. No pain almost feels like part of the bone but I know it can't be ? No other symptoms. Can this sometimes go away on its own?
Brief Answer:
Probably atheroma or fibroma
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
This is probably some subcutaneous lesion such as ateroma, fibroma or lipoma. These are commonly seen in this area. In most cases it will not go away on its own. It may only grow or inflamme so it is advisable to remove it under local anasthesia by surgeon or ENT doctor and be sent to hystologic analysis.
Wish you good health. Regards
