Brief Answer:
probably just mild lymph node enlargement
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
This looks like mild lymph node enlargement or subcutaneous inflammation due to ingrown hair or subcutaneous gland(atheroma) infection.
In most cases it passes on its own with no treatment. YOu should just avoid shaving in next few days.
If redness occur,or pain worsen, you should start amoxicilin antibiotic
And if it doesnt work as well, then you should see surgeon for surgical drainage.
Wish you good health.

Is this normal? What can i do to help it go down? Is it serious?
Brief Answer:
not serious
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
No, this is not serious. this is commonly seen in this area and most of it dissapear spontaneously so you dont have to worry. Only if redness and rapid grow occur, you should visit doctor and have antibiotic therapy like I suggested. If you see any discharge too you will need to start those antibiotics.

Compared to the last picture does it look better? How much longer until it goes away? And, i am supposed to start my period in 6 days and my vagina feels uncomfortable and my discharge is turning a little red is this normal? And is it normal to start this early?
Brief Answer:
everything is normal
Detailed Answer:
It looks better as I see. But you need to wait for few more days to see will it get worse. it may persist for up to 2 weeks, but it is important that there is no pus secretion or spreading redness or fever. Period can start earlier, this is not worrying as well. Wish you good health.
