Brief Answer:
Please take medicines for gerd (Gastro esophageal reflux disease)
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Please don't worry , will be fine!
Gerd leads to swelling of the lining of the throat and this can give rise to the feeling of lump in throat , as in your case.
Please don't worry as this is mostly temporary and will come down when the gerd decreases.
Please avoid tea , coffee , smoking , alcohol , hot and spicy food and take a light dinner for few weeks , this will help
You can also take tablet omeprazole 20 mg twice a day , half hour before food , to help reduce the acidity for 4 weeks. This is over the counter medication.
Take care!
