Question: Hello, I have a medical issue and in this respect I have approached in Jan/Feb using iPad App and received satisfactory answer. Medical Issue: For the last 6-8 years or so I have lumps on my left shoulder, back and on both the thighs and never faced any issues. Last year I went for health check at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore and discussed about these lumps with the doctor. They recommended me to undergo a test and the impression was Lipoma. In the last few months, I observed many lumps developing in my upper body around Stomach, Sideways and on left hand. They growing very fast and I am not able to sleep side due some big lumps. As these lumps are growing and with many new, I am worried a bit particularly about the lumps growing in around stomach (near Heart and Liver areas). Kindly request you to suggest a good hospital or recommend a specialist doctor to undergo complete tests and identify the exact cause and possible medications. I would like to confirm also that this issue is not related any cancer form. Your answer and suggestions would help me in a great way to lead healthy\happy life. Regards, XXXX

Brief Answer: Retesting these lumps Detailed Answer: At this point sir, I honestly believe that you will need a full medical workup and a biopsy of one of these 'lumps' There are numerous causes of these lumps and they range from genetic diseases to infections. Given the vast array of possibilities. I think you need specialized treatment and investigation in a multispeciality hospital. Since you have already gone to Apollo. They will have some basic information on you and won't have to repeat a lot of the basic tests. I believe it would be best to go back to them. A biopsy is a test where they will surgically take out a piece of a lump or the entire lump and test it under the microscope and with a whole range of chemical and biological tests. I think this would be the best bet for you. I hope this helps. Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.com Vinay

Hello Dr. XXXXXXX Thanks for your reply. I did approach Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore regarding the above mentioned query but received no reply. I want to book an appointment myself but not sure which department doctor (Like Neuro sceinces or General medicine etc) I should approach for discussions. The doctor who conducted the tests last time during Apollo health check, is not anymore with Apollo. As a last resort, I approached Healthcare magic for advise on whom to approach regarding the doctors\hospitals. If feasible for you, I kindly request you to suggest any multispecialty hospital in Bangalore which specializes in this area. Thanks, XXXX
