Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through the query, I would like to comment the following:

1.You seem to be diagnosed with COPD and currently on inhalers and Nocturnal Oxygen therapy.

2.COPD is characterized by its association with "an enhanced Chronic inflammatory response in the airways and the lung to noxious particles or gases."

3. Paint fumes exposure is definitely a risk factor for COPD. Considering your age at diagnosis of COPD, you were also at a risk of developing senile emphysema then. Other known risk factor is active or passive smoking , excessive exposure environmental air pollution, Any long term occupational exposure to inhaled dust/fumes,etc.

4. Currnet management of COPD depends on the severity of the disease, your oxygen saturation, Pulmonary artery pressures, any other co existing diseases, etc.

5. Considering your age, you are also advised to take flu and pneumococcal vaccinations from your doctor in addition to the current management of COPD.

I hope I have answered your query. I will be glad to answer follow up queries if any. Please accept my answer if you have no follow up queries.
