Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Marks on the roof of mouth and feeling of dryness at these spots can occur due to a number of causes.
leukoplakia is a common condition characterised by formation of white colored spots in the oral cavity.
Leukoplakia is common in smokers.
Other lesions which can produce similar symptoms are Fordyce spots. These are ectopic sweat glands in oral cavity. These are non-neoplastic and harmless lesions.
To know the exact nature of these lesions, you need to get a biopsy of these lesions.
Biopsy is small bit of tissue which is examined microscopically to know the nature of lesion.
Further management will depend on the test report.
Consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment and biopsy.
If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.
