What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth, Nausea And Abdominal Cramps?
Question: Good morning, i have a bad pastie metallic taste in my mouth, seem to have more than usual syliva & feel mildly sick feeling in my stomach (ie. mild nausea) with mild pain (cramp) in my stomach , could i have bleeding in my stomach or esophagus lining ? I have been taking for 10 days 20mg of OTC Nexium for stomach burning but which is now almost gone.

2.Did you have metallic taste when you had burning or it started later? It started later about 10 days after taking the Nexium.
3.Did the burning sensation started after taking Medium? No burning has is essentially gone now.
4.Do you also experience sour liquid coming in mouth? No , only a bad taste , no vomiting, no liquid coming back up into mouth.

As you will stop taking the medication gradually the taste will improve..
Gargle with flavoured antiseptic mouthwash as it will reduce salivation also as it has drying effect in mouth..
Drink plenty of water..
