I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
Having mild fever for 3 full days is a normal thing with a common cold (a self limited infection), which takes 3-5 days and goes away on its own.
Sometimes fever itself might go up to 4-5 days. If fever longer than 5 days than this is not normal and you will need medical consultation.
You seem to be doing the right things. What I would recommend is:
1. Taking Tylenol and Advil (only for 2-3 days, after food) and alternating them is very good and will help with the body aches and headache. You might need to keep a note which medication you are using and when so you do not confuse them and have overdose of any of them.
2. Be cautious about taking other cold medications as they might have Tylenol (paracetamol) also and you might be taking more paracetamol in a day then you should- check their ingredients if you want to use them
3. Drinking plenty and resting at this time is good also. Appetite might be low also but to help make sure you have frequent small amounts of food.
4. If fever and pains are not better in a couple of days than you will need to see a doctor and have a thorough examination.
