Brief Answer:
Ulcer over the tongue

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your query and image; it suggest that you may be suffering from the ulcer over the tongue. Ulcer over your tongue may be due to deficiency of micronutrient.

You may apply DENTOGEL over the ulcer 20 min before food to help you chew food properly.

To rule out other disease and for further management you may go for the routine blood tests for vitamins including Vit B 12, B1 and B2.

Avoid spicy food, smoking, alcohol drinking if you have.

Thanks

Just checking you saw the difference between the two pics? Js it normal for the ulcer to flare up over a few months in the same place? Also is my coated tongue anything to do with it? Google made me scared it was tongue cancer lol

Brief Answer:
It is normal for ulcer

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your follow up query; and it is normal for the ulcer to flare up over a few months in the same as place. No need to worry, it is not the cancer.

For coated tongue, I personally advised gargles with hexidine and hydrogen peroxide once a day for at least 7 days.

Wish you good health.

Thanks
