Brief Answer:
need to be investigated further

Detailed Answer:
hi
welcome to HCM
I can understand your concern
according to your mom TSH levels she is suffering from severe hypothyroidism.
In severe hypothyroidism facial puffiness is common.
and also she need to be investigated further to rule out cardian and kidney problem for facial swelling.
so get done her Serum creatinine,Urea, albumin,A/G ratio, ECG,BP and chest x ray.

The dose should be individualized on the basis of clinical response and biochemical tests. Regular monitoring of TSH and thyroxine is recommended when starting therapy or changing the dose.
severe hypothyroidism may result in
-heart problems
-obesity
-joint pain
So i would like to know her previous TSH levels, Dasage of drug, her weight to calculate the dosage.

thank you
take care
