What Causes Mild Tingling Feeling On The Penis Throughout The Day?

Question: I have a mild problem and want to know if its serious. My penis is having a very mild, no big deal, tingling feeling on and off throughout the day. Just enough to make it a little uncomfortable. Have never had a burning feeling while urinating or during sex. So no concerns there. I do have a little bit of dry skin on my penis when erect right under rim of head, but not very much and not enough to be a big deal. No std signs like sores or blisters, but it just is bothering me. It goes away for a while then comes back. i am a little overweight, not too bad but slightly, so is this a std proble, a health problem, please help, not sure what to do.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed tingling sensation in penis off and on .

The tingling sensation in penis could be mostly due to mild arousal at subconscious levels due to sexual thoughts and has no significance at all .

The dryness around the glans penis on erection is due to inadequate secretion of mucus by mucus secreting glands located in glans penis.

All these issues are definitely not due to STD but due to anxiety .

Spend more time in fore play this will resolve the problem of dryness around the glans penis on erection .

Just to be clear, I did have a couple of sexual encounters a few months ago with different women. Again, no signs of stds after the encounters, blisters, sores, etc. But the tingling is there now and it is just bothersome, hoping its not anything serious. I dont understand the sub concious explanation you are giving, you are positive I should not get it checked out and that this is just something I will have to deal with.

But it wasall protected sex. If it was a few months ago and no symptoms, is this more of a issue like diabetes, which my family has a history of, instead a sexual std thing. I again have had no symptoms of stds, so what else could this be.

In view of protected sex there are less chances of STD and any symptoms
I do not find any organic cause for tingling in penis .It could be due to anxiety .

Diabetes will not cause tingling isolated in penis
