What Causes Mild Vaginal Pain During Pregnancy?

Question: Hi, I am 20 weeks pregnant with my second child. My elder child was delivered thru C-section 4 years ago. I am experiencing moderate pain in my vaginal bone area on the right side, since a month. The pain is more felt when changing sides or getting out of bed, getting in/out of car etc. All my ultrasounds done so far are normal. Please suggest if it is normal to feel pain like this early in the second trimester and remedies to improve it. Thanks.

Thank you doctor for the prompt reply. Just curious to know what could be the possible reason of the pain and is it expected to remain till the end of pregnancy? I did not experience any sort of this pain in my first pregnancy.
Brief Answer:
Can be calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The cause of such pain is calcium deficiency or low levels of Vitamin D3. You can get your levels checked and start with suitable supplements accordingly. It can be a slight muscle spasm also. Increasing the electrolyte rich fluid intake will help.
The pain will subside once you have proper diet and supplements.
Hope my answer is helpful.
