Question: I ve discovered some milky fluid coming out of my right nipple ( produced two drops when squeezed) my nipples also seem to be darker. three pregnancy tests have come back negative. my periods are normally irregular and I dont have unprotected sex. ive also experienced nausea in my tummy. diarrhea. and incredible back pain in my lower back. should I be concerned. what could it be?

Hello and thanks for your question. there are many things that may cause your symptoms of nausea and diarrhea. It could be a virus or something that you ate. If three pregnancy tests are negative then you are probably not pregnant. The nipple discharge is called galactorrhea and can sometimes be caused by hormonal shifts but also by abnormal prolactin levels. It would be good for you to see a doctor and get thyroid and prolactin blood tests as well as an exam. The back pain could be from whatever is going on in your stomach, but could also be a separate problem. In any case with all these different symptoms you really need to see a doctor for an exam and some blood tests.
