Question: hi.. my name is XXXX and this month i missed my period, last month i have period on 10th but this month i havent.. i am a married girl and at fist missing period so i have done the pregancy test in prega news but it came negative.. i am very worried about my missing period

1) I suggest to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG to rule out pregnancy. It will be more worthwhile though chance of pregnancy is QUITE LESS if you took birth control pill (NOVELON) regularly on scheduled time.
2) Hormonal imbalance and mental stress are the main reasons of missed regular period in my opinion. Other associated factors are like over weight, irregular diet habit, Poly Cystic Ovary, high prolactin level etc.
3) On NEGATIVE blood test, Norethisterone pill (Primolut-N) can be taken for 3 to 5 days to induce period. Most women get their period within 5 to 7 days after stopping them. Kindly, consult with doctor for complete prescription.
