The radiologist strongly suggested it is an inflammatory demyelinating disorder
Brief Answer:
Inflammations can be controlled.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back,
It could be three possibilities mainly.
1) Worst could have been tumor.(they aren't usually numerous though).
2) Infection could be there.
3) Inflammatory problem.
Now as your neurologist have told you that it seems like an inflammatory issue , i would say its relatively a good news because inflammations can be controlled.
Now it will take some further workup by you neurologist to reach exact diagnosis and treatmenr for you.
I will suggest you not to panic and keep a regular follow up with your neurologist.
Things are expected to get better.
Wish you the very best of health.
Regards.
