What Causes Muscle Pain And Weakness In Legs While Standing?
Question: I have muscle pain, and leg weakness when I stand up after even a short time sitting. After a few minutes, I'm able to walk normally but still with some discomfort. It feels like my muscles tighten up when I sit and then standing causes the pain of stretching them to walk. I have a history of osteoarthritis and have pain in my knee but this is muscle pain involving the entire leg. Both legs

Take plenty of fluid.
Take calcium supplements and vitamin D supplements along with Vitamin E.
Another possibility can be spinal canal stenosis leading to bilateral leg pain.
I will advise you MRI spine.
Deep vein thrombosis be ruled out by doppler study.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens may give you relief.
