Hello,
Back pain is very common problem in young population specially with sitting job. It can be due to bike riding or lot of travelling also. As you said that it was started after doing yoga so this is muscle spasm. I have following suggestions for you.
1.Avoid forward bending and weight lifting. Avoid jerky activity and yoga in future.
2.Learn back muscle stretching exercises and do it at home. Some time pain can increase that time you can take hot water fomentation.
3.tablet Myoril or Myospaz is also useful.
4.As I mentioned long sitting can increase this pain. Try to keep your back straight and avoid too much forward bending.
5.Recovery time can be one month. As I have discussed all issues at present there is no need to see orthopaedic doctor but in future you can see if pain does not get down.
