What Causes Muscle Spasms And Stiffness In Lower Back?
Question: I have what I believed to be a muscle spasm in the lower left sift of my back. I was treated in the emergency room with atavan and fentenil. I followed up with my GP who prescribed XXXXXXX and vicodin. I am now entering my 5th day without relief, except when pain medication is working. XXXXXXX doesn't seem to do anything. Ibuprofen seems to help a little. I'm concerned it may be something else. What should I try next?
Brief Answer:
Get spine xray done.

Hi,
I have read your query.
Spasm and back pain are due to many reasons.
Yes you may be right, It is important to find exact cause. You should get x-ray of lumbosacral spine in AP and Lateral view and send me the report. I want o see the present condition of vertebrae and discs.
Till then you can take the same medicine that helps you relieve the pain. Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.
Avoid pulling and pushing heavy objects.
