Brief Answer:
add anti inflammatory medication, continue rest, warmth

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The dimple would be due to contraction of the muscle.

Muscle pain can sometimes take a few weeks to resolve. The time frame can vary from 2 to 6 weeks, rarely longer, if there is severe injury.

Rest, the use of the warm therapy and the icy hot can be continued. The warm water or warm compress should be done 2 to 3 times a day for 10 to 15 minutes if possible.

In addition, elevation , if there is any swelling as well as the use of anti inflammatory medication , may be helpful
Eg of anti inflammatory meds include cataflam, naproxen, ibuprofen. These should be used even if there is no significant pain to help reduce the inflammation to the muscle.

If the dimple does not resolve or improve somewhat within 24 to 48 hours, then you may also need a prescription for a muscle relaxant from your doctor.

I hope this helps , feel free to ask any other questions
