The muscle twitch started 2 weeks ago. The tingling about the same time. They are episodic. I am not aware of any chronic illness such as diabetes or thyroid disorder. I am an accountant and use a computer daily.
Brief Answer:
cervical X-Ray/Blood sugar/Thyroid function tests/
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
With this clinical background, cervical radiculopathy(nerve radicles compression) due to spine degeneration or the disc pathology appears to the most common cause. So,I suggest you to get a 'Cervical X-Ray' done as the initial investigation for evaluation.
At the same time,I suggest you to get the following investigations done-
1)Blood sugar
2)Thyroid function tests
Further, please tell whether you are on a high frequency alcohol intake?Alcoholism may contribute towards these symptoms.
If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.
