What Causes Muscle Twitches In Legs?
Seems to be idiopathic
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I have read your query and I had good experience with dealing such problem. This type of muscle twitching is called fasciculations and it can be due to following.
1.Anxiety
2.High thyroid level
3.High blood pressure
4.Idiopathic
As you have not mentioned any problem like high blood pressure or thyroid so I assume that you are having idiopathic where there is no obvious cause. In these cases there is no active treatment needed. With in a week or so this fasciculation will go by its own.
If it increases or cause more pain then you can start taking Amytryptalin tablet 10 mg after discussing with a neurologist.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
Thank You Very Much !!!
I would appreciate your reviews.

Hi,
Idiopathic means there is no any obvious cause of the problem.
Fasciculation is a type of muscle twitching. These are small, local, involuntary muscle contraction and relaxation visible under the skin arising from the spontaneous discharge of a bundle of skeletal muscle fibers.
