Brief Answer: Your back muscles are weak Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX I have read your case and i see lot of young girls specially dancers and sports women with such pain. X ray is usually normal and back appears straight. My experience is that it is mostly muscle fatigue and postural problem. For my patients with such complains I would recommend following . 1.Back muscle strengthening exercises and posture correction, avoid bike riding 2. Vitamin B 12 ( Methylcobal) 3. Muscle relaxant like Myoril or myospaz if pain is severe . 4. Hot water fomentation 5. Diclofenac ointment 6. Hot water fomentation Treatment takes time and need patience. But usually all patients responds well.I hope this answer will help you. Let me know If you want to ask any thing else. Thanks and take care.

But days with lot physical exertion doesnt create problems for me, whether it be roaming, trekking or marathon. What I find difficult is to be straight forgotten longer time like shopping it sitting in ofc or laptop for long hours. I usually maintain a spine straight posture. The present doctor I consulted with my b12 results, inspite of report showing 175, feels,I have no symptoms of,it. And will swimming help for muscle strenthening? the Yoga I do also focussed on muscle strengthening.

Brief Answer: yoga can help Detailed Answer: Hello , Muscle pain occurs mostly in morning or in night time when muscles are relaxed. When you are involve in games and roaming around, you may not feel pain as your mind is focused on that activity. I would still recommend you to do back muscle strengthening exercise. Since your back is more straight then normal, ( loss of lumbar lordosis) I would suggest you extension group of exercises. I would also suggest you to take vitamin B12 as it is good for nerves. And there is no side effect. Swimming is a good exercise, but It can increase your pain . So try it, if you feel better then continue it. Yoga should be supervised and avoid forward bending exercises. Whenever you will do any exercise, you will need painkillers and muscle relaxant as spastic muscles causes pain when contract. But you have to persist with it. I hope you will be benefited from this answer. Let me know if you have any other query. Thanks and take care.
