What Causes Nasal Bleeding Every Morning?

default
Posted on Tue, 18 Jul 2017
Question: Hi, every morning for the last bit (esp more recently) my nose has had blood in it. This morning i had alot of blood in my nose and am wondering if its just from the heat, not drinking enough water and the dry air or if its something to be concerned about. There were also black clot looking bloody bits as well but they were pretty small. I am a smoker so i just want to be sure this isnt a super health issue. I have attached pics below to emphasize the amount i had this am.

Brief Answer:
Epistaxis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for putting up the query

Nasal bleed can be due to trauma, high blood pressure, growth, infection, deviation in nasal septum, dryness etc.
My advice is you should get yourself examined by an ENT SPECIALIST asap.
Get your blood pressure checked.
put xylometazoline nasal drops three times a day.
Avoid putting finger or scratching the nose.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available at prescription only.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Thanks and regards
