What Causes Nausea And Diarrhoea After Taking Pyridium And Monurol?

Need urine routine microscopy and urine culture.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
It appears as if you are suffering from a urinary tract infection.
The nausea and diarrhoea are either side effects to the Pyridium and Monurol, or you have a coexisting stomach infection with the UTI.
However, it is not wise to take indiscriminate treatment for the UTI.
It is best to have a urine routine microscopy to confirm UTI and then have a urine culture testing to know the exact organism causing it.
The culture and sensitivity test will also dictate the antibiotic to be used for it.
Meanwhile, for the nausea and diarrhoea, you just need symptomatic treatment.
Fluids, hydration, a lot of rest and bland, home made light food ( soup or broth ). An over the counter antacid may provide symptomatic relief.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

I am due for my annual exam soon so that is probably the best. Does cervical cancer come to mind?
Does not suggest cancer, but I need some information.
Detailed Answer:
I assume you are talking about a vaginal discharge ?
And the polyps - were they vaginal or rectal / anal ?
I do not find the symptoms indicative of cervical cancer at all , when was your last Pap smear ?

I remember when I had polyps removed from my uterus(I think, not cervix) I had spotting but not discharge.
I do not think Monurol is the reason for the discharge.
Detailed Answer:
I do not think that the discharge is related to the Monurol.
Are you still having any other symptoms - burning micturition, pain, redness, etc ?
Discharge might again be indicative of a UTI, and it could be ovulatory spotting too.
IT varies in the form of a dirty discharge sometimes.
If this recurs, you need an internal evaluation, Pap smear and pelvic ultrasound scan.
Take care.
