What Causes Nausea, Night Sweats And Restless Legs?
Question: Lately I have been having problems with a feeling of over-fullness bordering on nausea, night sweats that soak the bedding, a hacking cough, extreme restless legs and cramping, aching joints, especially my hands. I also have a low-grade fever appx 100.1. My normal body temp is 97.6. I am on Synthroid, ropinerole, trazodone, escitalopram, buproprion, omeprazole, a multivitamin, Calcium with vitamin D, and an extra 2000 units of vitamin D (doctor prescribed). I am post-menopausal and have been off HRT for 2 years, 58 years old, 5', 180 lbs. Blood pressure is 120/74, heart rate around 70, respirations 22, cholesterol fine. Any idea what the heck is going on?
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.
The night sweats and nausea could be simply an adverse reaction of the drugs which you are taking. However, other causes like hot flushes or hyperthyroidism ( synthroid induced) should be ruled out.
Have you had a recent Thyroid blood work?
Any weight loss?
Since you have associated low grade fever, may I recommend following tests
1) CBC, CRP, ESR
2) Urine Routine and microscopy
3) Fasting sugar
4) Thyroid blood profile?
