What Causes Nausea, Palpitations And Sweating?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Just been to A&E and they've basically told me that they don't k ow what it is.
I have an ongoing thyroid issue (graves) but all tests were normal.
I already take propanarol 80mg BD for previous SVT and have been on that for years. The drs said I was in sinus rythem today.
I'm getting some pain to side of my L breast and can feel my heart beating even though its a reasonable rate.
I had very loose stools this morning but that's the only episode.
They've sent me home with no plan and now I'm worried its a build up to something serious.
What do you think please.
Thanks
I had all TFTs yesterday and they are adamant that they are fine.
What else could it be if the TFTs ate correct? Could it still be thyroid even if the results appear normal?
Thanks
To rule out Hypoglycemia
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
Presence of Nausea, Palpitations and sweating in the presence of. Normal TFT , possibility of following needs to be considered
1. Hypoglycaemia : Low blood sugar can have such presentation
2. Presence of Acid peptic disease
3. Ischemic Heart disease
It is unlikely to be be due to Hyperthyroidism as your TFT was normal a day ago and you are already on Propranolol.
I would suggest you the following
1. Get an Electrocardiogram done
2. Random blood sugar/Fasting blood sugar
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Kindly keep me updated about progress
Take care
