What Causes Nausea When Eating Food?

default
Posted on Tue, 2 Dec 2014
Question: I am 44 year old male, I feel pukish every time I eat except when eating fruits, even with the smell of food being prepared I feel pukish but I do not vomit.
My doctor suggested to go for endoscopy but nothing abnormal was found, after that several boold and Urine tests were performed and Uric Acid was found in excess apart from that everything was almost normal except Liver Function Test(slight abnormality), so my doctor suggested to go for Ultrasound test and two stones were detected in Gall bladder of size 27mm and 17mm. Recently Laprascopic Cholecystectomy was performed for the same and doctors assured that everything will be fine after the operation.
But I am still feeling pukish while eating meals. What should I do? please help.

prokinetic medication will help

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The symptoms you have Could be related to abnormal gastric dysmotility due to diabetes. I would advise to add levosulpuride which should help with the Nausea.
Please consult your doctor for a prescription.
I would adive you to take small frequent meals and avoid high protein diet, like meat, fried foods.
Hope this helps
