What Causes Nausea With Alcohol Intake?

Question: I have been a heavy drinker for 35 years. I was told one tear that I have elevated liver enzymes. I went to rehad for one month. I stopped drinking for 8 months. Then I started drinking again and have been for the last 5 months. I am now experiencing daily nausea, what are your thoughts?

The main cause of nausea with alcohol use are (In hierarchy):
-Acidity and gastritis
-Liver dysfunction
-Vitamin deficiency: Specially B1 and B12 due to alcohol use.

It is better to get your liver function test done as you had history of liver enzymes in past. Same time if you have acidity, you can start medicines like Pantoprazole 40mg daily empty stomach for 1 month.
