What Causes Night Sweats, Rapid Heart Beat And Tiredness?

Question: I was having symptoms that included night sweats, rapid heart beat and tiredness. My doctor suspected Vitamin D deficiency and a blood test revealed a count of 10. My doctor said I should take 50,000 IU of Vitamin D supplement for 6-8 weeks and 1,000 a day thereafter. After about 4 weeks, I was feeling pretty good but last week the night sweats and rapid heart beat returned although after a morning shower, I start feeling good for the balance of the day. My current count is 25. Could that count still cause these symptoms?

I have read your query.I think I may be able to help you.

The symptoms that you have mentioned are suggesting that the possibility of a CHF, a cardiac condition, needs to be ruled out.

There is also a strong possibility that we may need to rule out anxiety.

I would have suggested that the patient undergo a complete hemogram and echocardiography in addition to vitamin D.
If a thyroid and sugar is tested, the information contained within this will be more significant.

For now, at level of 25, I think I would suggest that you can choose to continue vitamin D Replacement as before.
