Detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The generalized aches and pains that this subject is having are not likely to be related to the liver cyst. The mild lymph node enlargement and other symptoms are likely to be due to a a benign type of viral syndrome. Viruses in the environment are common and when we are exposed to them they can sometimes trigger a constellation of symptoms including fatigue, lymph gland swelling, dry mouth, dizziness night sweats and weakness.
I would advise that he supports his body with good hydration, adequate sleep, a well-balanced diet and a moderate exercise regimen. Exercise is actually good for the immune system which is why I suggest it here. In addition he can supplement his diet with some Vitamin C - 1000 mg daily and consider drinking some immune boost type of tea such as Echinacea which is readily available at most supermarkets. Taking a mild pain killer like acetaminophen will also help him in feeling symptomatically better.

I think the treating doctor should start the Vitamin B12 supplements which will not harm him even if he is not deficient.

Finally I suggest a check for thyroid hormone levels, a consult with an endocrinologist should be of great help too.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
