What Causes Nipple Pain While On Duromine And Metermine?

Question: Hi, im currently on day 3 of duromine/metermine and i have experienced some bad nipple pain- to describe it i would say it feels pretty similar to an ant bite or something along those lines, also the actual nipple its self it white- this is only happening in my left nipple... would this be a side effect of the drug? my body temperature is normal and i dont feel cold- i also have the implanon implant which i got in april last year- this is the first time i have experienced this pain?
Brief Answer:
see your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for this question.
Nipple pain is not a known side effect of either of these medications however the fact that it is white is concerning. It may be that it is not getting enough blood flow and that could be a result of one of the medications.
You need to speak to your doctor today or go in for an appointment and ask them if you need to stop taking the medication.
When tissues in the body do not get enough blood flow other complications like skin damage can occur.
Please talk to your doctor before continuing to take this medication and ask them how to proceed.
They may want to see you in the office today.
