What Causes Nocturnal Pain In Left Waist Area Radiating To Back?
Please get these investigations done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX,
The pain is likely related to your urinary problem.
It could be Kidney stone disease or a low grade infection of the urinary tract or also inflammation of the kidney tubules called Glomerulonephritis.
I suggest you consult an Urologist and get the following tests done-
1. Urine analysis
2. Urine culture
3. Blood Sugar Fasting and post prandial
4. Ultrasound Abdomen and KUB(Pelvis)
5. 24hr urinary protein
6. Renal function tests - Urea, Creatinine, Sodium and Potassium.
These tests should bring out the reason for your problems.
You can upload the results on this site so we can advice you accordingly.
For the pain, I usually advice my patients Cap Spasmoproxyvon or Mefenamic Acid. You will need your Doctor to prescribe the same.
Do let us know if there are any other queries on the subject that we can help you with.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
