Brief Answer:
BPPV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

You seem to have Benign paroxysmal and positional vertigo-BPPV which is defined as abnormal head sensations perceived by certain provocative critical postures.

The classical finding is triggering of symptoms like tinnitus, dizziness with occasional sense of nausea with change in head posture.

Most symptoms are reproduced in change in posture erect to supine or vice versa.

The symptoms widely vary in severity in individuals.
This BPPV can be accurately diagnosed with Dix Hall pikes test.

Most of the cases are of unknown in origin with only 2% of cases being attributed to vertebrobasilar insufficiency secondary to carotid disease.
But this attribution is highly unlikely in your case considering your age.
But none the less a carotid arterial doppler can clear all the doubts.

The main treatment consists of using Vestibular suppressants like Betahistine 8 mg once a day at bedtime. This will resolve symptoms in 90% of cases.

Long term benefits can be achieved through Epleys procedures which are series of neck repositioning exercises.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
