Brief Answer:
unlikely to be a stroke.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you are unlikely to be having stroke because your lower limb is normal and you have no complain about weakness of face and any difficulty in speech.

I think you have got paralysis (Neurapraxia) of one of nerves of arm and hand due to continuous pressure on one of nerves during sleep. Neurapraxia is a disorder of the peripheral nervous system in which there is a temporary loss of motor and sensory function due to blockage of nerve conduction, usually lasting an average of six to eight weeks before full recovery. It occurs from sleeping on and compressing one's arm overnight. It mostly involve radial nerve leading to condition called Saturday night palsy. It occurs due to falling asleep with one's arm hanging over the arm rest of a chair, compressing the radial nerve at the spiral groove. The majority of radial neuropathies due to an acute compressive event (Saturday night palsy) do recover without intervention. EMG and nerve conduction studies are typically performed to diagnose the extent and distribution of the damage, and to help with prognosis for recovery.

I treat such people coming to my clinic with Tab Mecobalamine with good results.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Wishing you good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
If your right leg is also weak then think of stroke.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

After going through your query and follow up query I want to say that if your right leg is also weak along with right hand and arm then you may be having stroke. You may be having stroke but recovery can be full with treatment. You should get done CT scan of head including brain and MRI of cerebral vessels and brain should be done. Shivering of body and sweating may be related to hypertension and anxiety. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.

Brief Answer:
Exclude stroke first.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you should exclude stroke first as you have weakness of both right leg and right arm. However as you have this condition since seven days and your BP is normal , so it is not an emergency condition.
By sleeping on one side can lead to affecting of both leg and arm but it is less likely so stroke is to be excluded. Your young age, normal BP , normal speech , no numbness in mouth /lips does not favour diagnosis of stroke but it should be excluded. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
Exclude diabetic neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

I feel happy that your brain plain (MRI) and angio (MRA) are normal. As you are diabetic so these symptoms can be due to diabetic neuropathy. So keep your blood sugar under control.Mecobalamin may be of help.It is not related to injury by iron to palm. You can got following tests to know cause of weakness:-
1.Blood sugar fasting and PP
2.Thyroid function test(T3,T4,TSH)
3.vitamin B12
4.vitaminD3 test
5.Hb
You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.

Brief Answer:
You may be having hyperthyroidism.

Detailed Answer:
HI
Welcome back

After going through your query and follow up query I want to say that your TSH is low, so you may be having hyperthyroidism. In this disease thyroid hormone is produced in increased amount. Some of symptoms you are having may be due to hyperthyroidism such as
Fatigue
Increased sweating
Irritability
Mental disturbances
Muscle weakness
Nervousness
Tremor/shakiness
Dizziness
Possible increase in blood pressure and blood sugar

Your report of creatinine and monocytes are of no significance ,according to me these are normal.

You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

Hope your query gets answered.
If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Brief Answer:
You may be having hyperthyroidism- thyroid disease cuasing thinning.

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXXXXX
Welcome back

After going through your query and follow up query I want to say that hyperthyroidism causes thin.

It is treated generally by medicines. However there are other treatment also such as surgery and radio iodine. Surgery and radio iodine may give complete cure without requirement to take further medicines. But treatment depends upon situation.

You has more secretion of thyroid hormones by your thyroid . So drugs are given to counter excess thyroid hormone. Don't worry it is treatable by medicines.

Palm weakness can be part of general weakness of muscles.
Neck pain can be related to anxiety, muscle weakness and fatigue.

You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

Hope your query gets answered.
